This is where it all began for us with clothes design. I was trying to create a special shirt for our clan and fell in love with creating clothes.
Abs had to listen to me rage about alpha textures, mismatched seams and lost files for about a week before I figured it out. He had already been learning how to manipulate prims, and the two things came together to eventually become House of SilverJinx.
Originally the name of our clan, the word "silverjinx" resulted from the combination of our two names. The clan name turned into our business name. Eventually we realized that we loved making things more then playing, and we retired from active SL life to become hermits in our secret workshop.
We took a long break from SL and SilverJinx for over half a year while we went thru some big real life changes, namely Abs visiting me in America, and then me following him back to Australia where we got married again, but this time in our first lives. Now we have one shared life, and it's turning out pretty well so far.
We enjoy our SL life, and still love all the wonderful friends we made. SecondLife was and is a wonderful experience for us. Working as a club dancer gave me insight into designing clothes to that end, and you might still see me quietly trying out a new design in some dark corner someday.
Until then, we'll be off in our workshop...
